On this 3 days, we will visit the most important sites in Chinese history, such as, the Forbidden Ctiy, Summer Palace, and the great human engeneering work the Great Wall; and we will still make one interesting tour of the Small Alleys of Beijing, which has history of over hundreds years, we will take local Rickshaw, a special tool that was popular in ancient China

Day 1 Beijing visit, the 1st day
Visit to Tian An Men Square, Forbidden City, Mutianyu Great Wall Excursion

P-1: 07:00am – 07:30am Picking up at your hotel
Your guide will arrange the pickup time the day before this departure, since the guide and driver shall pick up different clients at different location, there might a little delay due to traffic…etc; please prepare your gear and belongings waiting at your hotel lobby
P-2: 07:30am – 08:30am Drive to Tian An Men Square
Once all clients are in the vehicle, we will drive to Tian An Men Square. It is thought to be the center of Beijing and also a must-visit site of Beijing, as well as China, we will see the giant famous chairman Mao’s portrait that is hang right on the Gate of Heavenly Peace. It is the largest public square across the world. You will spend about half an hour to stroll around, taking picture and also visit to the People’s Hero Monument that is erected in this Square
P-3: 08:30am – 11:30am The Forbidden City
After the walk of Tian’anmen Square, we will gather around and heading north getting close to the Tian’anmen rostrum, where a huge red gate is in front you. It was the royal palace for hundred of years and this is also the “Gate” to Chinese history. This palace 9,999 forbidden imperial chambers, was the “house” for the 24 Chinese emperors from Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. There are wonders of Chinese arts, architectures, history. A short visit will only provide you a glimpse to such rich history;
P-4: 11:30am – 13:30pm Lunch break
We will drive to Mu-tian-yu Great wall, where we will first to have the lunch break at one well-selected local restaurant, clean and serve delicious meal
P-5: 13:30pm – 16:30pm Mutianyu Great Wall Excursion
We begin out visit to the Great Wall by taking the cable car in order to avoid the boring 40 minutes walk on the 800 steps, once you get on the wall, you will walk along the wall, enjoy the wonderful scenery, which has very positive comments on the viewpoint of Beijing on TripAdvisor for its picturesque view, and thoughtful-restored architecture.
On this walk, you will take from No. 14th to No. 23th Watching tower, enjoy your walk
P-6: 16:30pm – 18:30pm Return to your hotel
We will drive you back, due to busy traffic, the return journey may be much longer than the journey we came through.
Day 2 Beijing Visit, the 2nd day
Visit to Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Jingshan Park, 2008 Beijing Olympic Sites

P-1: 07:30am – 11:30am Picking up and visit to Summer palace
Your guide will arrange the pickup time the day before this departure, since the guide and driver shall pick up different clients at different location, there might a little delay due to traffic…etc; Then after, we will drive to Summer palace – a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces. Mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. In December 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritage List.
P-2: 11:30am – 12:30pm Visit 2008 Beijing Olympic Sites
Two of the well-known sites of 2008 Beijing Olympic Sites are selected for you to visit, Bird’s Nest and Water Cube; We will just get to for a appearance look, and your guide will assist you to find the best spot for the right angle of taking photos on those sites
P-3: 12:30pm – 13:30pm Lunch Break
We will get to the selected restaurant to enjoy one local meal, resting for the afternoon activities
P-4: 13:30pm – 14:30pm Jinshan Park
After having a good rest, we will drive to Jingshan Park which is an imperial park covering 23 hectares north of the Forbidden City. Formerly a private imperial garden attached to the grounds of the Forbidden City, it is listed as a Key State Park and is administratively part of both Xicheng and Dongcheng districts in downtown Beijing.
P-5: 14:30pm – 17:00pm Templpe of Heaven
Then after, we will drive to Temple of Heaven that is an imperial complex of religious buildings. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. It has been regarded as a Taoist temple, although Chinese heaven worship.
P-6: 17:00pm – 18:00pm Return to your hotel OR departure

Day 3 Beijing visit, the 3rd day
Visit to Yong He palace, the Confucius Temple, Hutong visit by Rickshaw

P-1: 07:30am – 12:30am Picking up and visit to Yong He palace and the Confucius Temple
Your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby, then we will first drive to Yong He palace, which is also known as the Yonghe Lamasery, or popularly as the Lama Temple. As it is a Gelug Pa monastery of Tibetan Buddhism found and built in Beijing. The building and artwork of the temple is a combination of Han Chinese and Tibetan styles. Then we will drive to The Temple of Confucius that is the second largest Confucian Temple across China (The largest one is in Qufu city, Shangdong province the hometown of Confucius). Beijing Confucius temple was built in 1302, and it was used it to pay their respects to Confucius until 1911. The compound had been enlarged twice separately in Ming and Qing dynasties, and now it occupies some 20,000 square meters.

P-3: 13:30pm – 17:30pm Hutong visit by Rickshaw & local family visit
Hutong is a type of narrow streets or alleys, most exist and prominently in Beijing. It is also the “line” that to link the traditional courtyard residence of Siheyuan of Northern China. Hutongs were first established in the Yuan dynasty (1206-1341) and then expanded in the Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties. Due to the city rebuilding and development, this traditional Chinese building are mostly demolished to make way for new roads and buildings. There are few of those are still remain in the old part of Beijing, this is the region that we will going to “explore”.
