Overview
The Panda Tour takes place in Dujiangyan City, a charming town named after its ancient irrigation system — the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, originally constructed around 256 BC during the Qin Dynasty. This remarkable engineering marvel on the Min River, the longest tributary of the Yangtze River, still functions today for irrigation and flood control. The surrounding environment, located at the confluence of the Sichuan Basin and the Tibetan Plateau, offers an ideal habitat for the endangered Giant Panda.
During this unique one-day experience, you will participate in the renowned Panda Keeper Program at the Dujiangyan Panda Breeding Base. This program provides an incredible opportunity to learn about and engage with Giant Pandas up close. You may even have the rare chance to hold a panda for a memorable photo (subject to donation and availability).
