🔍 Detailed Itinerary
P-1: 07:00–07:30 | Hotel Pickup
Your guide will confirm your pickup time the day before departure. Since the guide and driver will collect guests from different locations, slight delays may occur due to traffic. Please wait in your hotel lobby with your gear and belongings ready.
P-2: 07:30–09:30 | Drive to Jiankou Great Wall
Once all guests are collected, we will depart from Beijing and drive towards Jiankou Great Wall. The journey usually takes about 2 hours.
P-3: 09:30–14:30 | Hike from Jiankou to Mutianyu Great Wall
Jiankou, located in Huai-Rou County near Ba-Dao-He Village, is one of the wildest and most challenging sections of the Great Wall. The hike covers approximately 10 kilometers and takes 5-6 hours. After a few breaks along the way, you will reach Zheng-Bei Watch Tower, the highest point of Jiankou, offering panoramic views of up to 40 kilometers. We will then continue our descent towards Mutianyu, another section of the Great Wall.
P-4: 14:30–15:30 | Lunch Break
After completing the hike, we will head to a local restaurant for lunch. The Xin-shuang-quan restaurant or another qualified eatery will provide a well-deserved meal.
P-5: 15:30–18:30 | Return to Hotel
We will use local transportation to leave the Great Wall area. After a short walk to the parking lot, we will head back to Beijing. Due to heavy traffic, the return journey may take longer than the outbound trip.
